Primary Foster Care
Safe Life Journey is interested in teaching foster parents and biological families effective parenting techniques and healthy family relationships that will reduce the need of informed trauma. Foster parents will be trained as a group, as well as individually on positive behavior modification techniques , and other therapeutic interventions that will result in positive behavior. Foster parents will nuture behavior, provide stimulation, and promptly meet the needs of the child.

FOSTER CARE
Safe Life Journey Child Placing Agency provides trauma informed programs as part of the treatment for children in care, to help improve their general functioning, as well as their emotional, medical and behavioral needs. The Foster Care Therapeutic program allows experienced well trained foster parents to support adolescents with emotional or social behavior problems to ensure healthy behavior and provide the tools necessary to be successful in society.
PREPARATION OF FOSTER FAMILIES
Safe Life Journey seeks successful, patient adaptable foster parents with the ability to guide children into a healthy lifestyle. Foster Parents will need to be experienced or have completed the Agency required Orientation, Informed Care Training, CPR/First Aid, Medication Training as well as any additional training courses required.
CASE MANAGEMENT
Case Management is a appropriately licensed and qualified professional who directly ensures the best interest of the childs medical, dental,therapeutic and behavioral needs are met daily and monthly. The Case Manager is avaialble 24 hours 7 days a week along with agency staff.
